| Murchison Elementary - Los Angeles, CA |
The clever teachers at Murchison Elementary infuse PeaceBuilders into their daily lesson plans. Last month we showed you the easy way this talented group blends math with PeaceBuilding using number worksheets.
This month, the worksheets we share from Murchison have to do with Seeking Wise People, a very important PeaceBuilders Principle.
The first worksheet is to be completed by staff members. |

| The entire adult population at Murchison filled out this profile answering questions about themselves. This helps children get to know them better and helps them realize they are surrounded by “Wise People” who can aid, mentor, and encourage them. |
| They informed other students at Scholls Heights by giving classroom presentations they prepared themselves. |

| Children are asked to contemplate, before a crisis or emergency, a few Wise People they could turn to for help. |
Murchison proves that coaching young people to Seek Wise People can be a very simple task. When children repeatedly hear the message about how important it is to surround themselves with Wise People, and when they pre-plan who they might seek in a critical or confusing situation, they become empowered with strength and knowledge.
