“National PeaceBuilders” throughout the year. These exceptional people work unselfishly to
build peace in their homes, in their schools and in their communities; and in so doing they make the world a
better place for all of us. Join us in celebrating each and every one of them for their contributions in creating
safer, more peaceful learning environments. |

The Camposes build peace in their community each day through their involvement in many community projects
and organizations. They volunteer their time to work with at-risk youth, mentoring them and urging them to
get a good education and take on leadership roles in their community.
Aroldo and Alma Campos coach soccer, providing young people with shoes, transportation, and guidance when
needed. And Alma Campos also coaches parents to be PeaceBuilders in their homes and peaceful role-models for
their children.
This couple is dedicated to their family and their community. They prove that peace is built through the
personal involvement of individuals who care and take action.
