What happens when PeaceBuilders spills over into the community?
At the Long Beach City Hall meeting on July 17, 2007, PeacePartners, Inc.’s Peace Ambassador, Claudette Powers, presented framed PraiseNotes to the owners of Nino’s Restaurant for exhibiting outstanding PeaceBuilders qualities. |

The Cristianos and Ms. Cristiano Leoni went out of their way to welcome and support a new restaurant in their community. And although they expected no reward or recognition, their kindness and generosity did not go unnoticed.
They were thrilled to be the recipients of the first framed PeaceBuilders PraiseNotes. Ms. Cristiano Leoni spoke for them all saying, “It was such an honor as well as a humbling experience. Claudette (Powers) is a source of inspiration to all of us and she personifies our mission for peace in our community…It was a very special evening for us that we will always cherish.”
When PeaceBuilders spills over into the community, people are recognized for their good works and businesses and other organizations work together to promote peace.
We praise Mr. and Mrs. Vince Leoni and Ms. Carina Cristiano Leoni for helping other businesses in the Long Beach community to be successful. Their benevolence sets a tone that others will surely follow. |
