| Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School - Marlborough, MA |
In preparation for a successful, rewarding future, PeaceBuilders at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School receive a vocational/technical education along with their academic studies. Students can choose to enroll in many programs including Pre-Engineering, Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, and many more. Along with the vocational program they choose to pursue and their academic studies, the students here practice building peace.
Talented, inspired students have created visuals and reminders around the school that speak to their PeaceBuilding culture. They have taken the PeaceBuilders Pledge and made it distinctive to fit their unique character and atmosphere.

Alongside the AV PeaceBuilders Principles are reminders to say something positive, smile, apologize, hold a door, and ask for help. These students understand their expectations and they know the staff at AV is full of wise people they can seek for help.

At successful sites, PeaceBuilders becomes a daily routine. That routine may look a little different at each location, but it also includes consistent similarities. At all thriving PeaceBuilders sites, the six PeaceBuilders Principles are coached and modeled by adults and young people are expected to follow suit.
We thank the staff and students at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School for sharing student work that shows their commitment to building peace at their school and in their community. As these young people join the workforce, they will provide important technical skills, and they will also possess an all-important aptitude for building peace. That is an unbeatable combination and one of which they should be very proud.
