Dedicated PeaceBuilders at St. Stephen Martyr School work hard to maintain a strong foundation of peace. This determined group has survived many challenges over the years, and still, they remain absolutely committed to their mission.
Staff and students at St. Stephen Martyr are dedicated to increasing the peace. Bulletin boards with decidedly PeaceBuilders themes help them reach their goal.

Along with the impressive PeaceBuilders visual cues St. Stephen Martyr provides for staff and students, a very important oral and verbal reminder of what it means to be a PeaceBuilder is also provided each and every morning when they say the PeaceBuilders Pledge.
All the students at this peaceful site are involved in a PeaceBuddy program. The eighth graders are paired with first graders, seventh graders are paired with kindergarteners, sixth graders with preschoolers, fifth graders with second graders, and fourth graders are paired with third graders. Together they plan activities that promote peace: like the trip 8th and 1st grade buddies took to a nursing home.
And since PeaceBuilding occurs at school, at home and in the community, St. Stephen Martyr reaches out to parents and encourages them to embrace the PeaceBuilders way of life as well.
We are proud of the strong and steady accomplishments this impressive school achieves. Our praise goes out to the entire dedicated staff, the marvelous students at St. Stephen Martyr, and the supportive parents.
